Last week, 54 of JJR’s students went to London with 5 teachers. They got to visit many things and practice their English with their host families.
You can have a look at the many pictures taken along that school trip and the feedback from the students.
We, the teachers, would like to say a special thank you to the amazing bunch of students we have taken with us to London, the host families and Morgan, the best driver from Lefort bus company.
We cannot wait for next year and in the mean time have a good read !

“Overall I found the trip very interesting and cool. The journey to London was a bit long but it’s okay cause we were excited
On day 1 we visited BigBen and the house of the parliament, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus then we met our host families. My roommates and I were welcomed by Kelly during the whole trip she was absolutely perfect , the dishes she prepared, how kind she was, everything was perfect ( thanks to her )
On day 2 we visited Stamford Bridge ( Chelsea’s Stadium ) . It was very fun. I liked it then we had lunch in Hyde park after that we visited the natural history museum which was fun !
On day 3 we visited the British museum ( Africa section was the best part of this) then we went to Oxford street to do some shopping and after came the best part of the trip Camden It was so busy ( expression I learned here ) the neighborhood was very fun to visit and I would have liked us to stay longer
Day 4 was not that interesting. The street art visit in the east end was cool but the guide was a bit annoying sometimes then we went to Covent garden and it was sunny so that was cool. To finish we went to tower bridge
For the last day we went to notting hill and the portobello market it was so so cause it was rainy but I enjoyed it anyway we made the last purchases and the trip was finished !
I would like to thank all the teachers and my host Kelly for this incredible trip that will be forever engraved in the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making us discover new places. It will be an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much.”

“Dear Miss Carroue
We wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of our heart for the incredible school trip you organized. It was an unforgettable experience that we learned so much by exploring new places, discovering new cultures and spending time with my friends. We are really grateful to have had this opportunity.
Thank you also to all the companions who watched over us and who made this trip so pleasant and secure. Their efforts and dedication are really appreciated.
This trip will remain engraved in our memories forever and we are grateful to have been able to live it with my classmates. Thank you again for everything you have done to allow us to live this extraordinary experience.”

“Hello, my school trip isn’t finished yet as we’re still on the bus . But if you want a better answer, my trip was good and I liked it. I loved the entire trip. I enjoyed the road on the bus. I took many more pictures than I thought I would have. I bought souvenirs for my family. My host was very nice. I made some new friends. I don’t have anything more to say.
Thanks for all !”

“Firstly, we want to thank all the teachers for this good trip. We really enjoyed it, like walking in Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and Oxford Street.
Moreover, the free time was very nice, even if it was expensive .
Also, visiting the Chelsea stadium was very interesting. What’s more, we really liked our host family ; speaking and eating with them was great. They were very nice and generous.
So, our favorite day was Wednesday ; we enjoyed shopping and having more time to explore the city better. However, we didn’t like the street art tour because we didn’t see Banksy’s art, which is why we were disappointed. Moreover, we didn’t enjoy the long walks because they were very tiring. What’s more, we thank again all the teachers and our family for this experience, and we are so sad to leave this city “

“I am very happy to have been to London. I really enjoyed the first day at Piccadilly and Buckingham Palace. Then I really liked the visit to the Chelsea stadium. I didn’t like the museums because they were long. Finally, the host house was very strange ,the food wasn’t really good but the family was nice.”
